Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2440 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Nursys verification must be dated within 14 days of the submission date, showing a valid CA RN license.

Required Skills/Experience:
EKG interpretation is required.
Must be able to read cardiac rhythms and act on changes to those rhythms.
Must be familiar with administering IV cardiac drips, including amiodarone and Cardizem.
Must be able to administer IV cardiac medications, including heparin and insulin drips.

Special Requests:
Return staff/travelers: no separation time required; former manager(s) name must be included on the application

Unit Details:
The assignment is on a post-surgical unit.
Patients are acutely ill adults and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend.
On-call as needed.

Floating Requirements:
When not needed on the stationed SCU, a hybrid unit caring for telemetry/med-surg patients, the clinician will float to other telemetry/med-surg units as hospital needs arise.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
