Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2450 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: IV start and chest tube management are required.

Unit Details: Patient population includes cardiac and neuro patients. Receives patients after heart catheterization, pacemaker procedures, ablation, Watchman procedures, valve repair, and cardioversion. Equipment includes telemetry boxes, Welch Allyn vital sign machines, and Alaris IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: 3-4 weekend shifts per month; no on-call.

Floating Requirements: Floats to PCU and Med/Surg.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
