Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

Required skills/experience: Experience in medical/surgical nursing is essential. RNs are required to titrate drips, including amiodarone (Amio), heparin (Hep), insulin, and Cardizem. Nurses are responsible for reading their own EKG strips each shift.

Shift & schedule requirements:

• Weekend work is required every other weekend or less frequently. • Holiday work is assigned on a rotating basis. • There is an on-call requirement, but this is used as a last resort specifically for travelers.

Special request requirements: RNs are expected to troubleshoot these devices but no further detailed responsibilities are specified.

Unit and facility details: The unit primarily cares for patients with colorectal conditions including colorectal cancer and ileus, as well as those recovering from associated surgical interventions. Other common diagnoses include infections such as osteomyelitis, sepsis, and pneumonia.
