Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $3030 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - MidAmerica Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Management of vasoactive drips.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 PM, or 1:4 AM, 1:5 PM with patient care techs. - Typically total RN-based care with no techs. Unit secretaries are scheduled 7am-7pm in the PCU and are available as resources. - Uses BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps. - Central line or PICC line placement. - Bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds. - Designated Education Unit. - New cardiac monitors allow visual monitoring of cardiac rhythm in each room.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred. - Every 3rd weekend rotation. Rotating holiday schedule.

Floating Requirements: - May float to MedSurg units. - FT/PT staff float in a rotation based on dates; bonus shifts always float first.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
