Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: You will be required to complete a pass/fail Tele exam during Orientation. Passing Score is 80% and you are given 1 attempt to pass. If you do not pass, you will be cancelled from the assignment. You will be required to complete a pass/fail Medication exam during Orientation. Passing Score is 80% and you are given 1 attempt to pass. If you do not pass, you will be cancelled from the assignment.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with chest tubes, spinal precautions, PCA pumps, and epidurals is preferred.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Manager is flexible to reasonable time-off requests. Facility allows 1 of the 3 major upcoming holidays in RTO.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Patient population includes telemetry and observation patients.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: EOW/EOH. Shift start time is 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need. Self-scheduling is subject to manager final approval. No hard holiday requirement.

Floating Requirements: This position will support surge/overflow patients. Some floating may be required within the ED to care for boarder patients.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

14 days maximum time off
