Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: - Telemetry T8 cares for patients with CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, COVID, post-procedure pacemaker, ablation, and cath lab patients, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. - Non-titratable cardiac medication drips include Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro. - CCTs monitor ECG rhythms on all telemetry patients 24/7. ACTs assist with transport, admissions and discharges, IV and Foley insertion, ADLs, and limited medication administration. Ancillary support includes the Rapid Response Team, phlebotomists, EKG technicians, and Respiratory Therapists. - Provides care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Shift & Scheduling: - Call is not required. - One additional shift is required during each 4-week schedule period. - Schedule varies based upon department needs and may include weekends and major holidays.
Floating Requirements: - May float to intensive care units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows. - Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
