Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Telemetry Unit experience.
• 12 months of travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• 12 months between Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Northwell Health

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with chest tube set up & care; CPAP/BiPap; Trach Care.
Preferred Skills/Experience: 5 + yrs. experience.
Required Credentials: All required certifications and licensure should not expire during the assignment. If your certifications or licensure are set to expire during the listed contracted dates, you must apply with a receipt of renewal.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Access/Care; Wound Vac. Tele interpretation; blood/blood products administration/cooling, warming blanket.
Equipment Used on Unit: Drains; Feeding tubes; Epidural pumps; PCA Pumps; Line management, PICC/Central Lines; Port-A-Cath/ Vascular Device
Unit/Facility Details: 349-bed acute care teaching hospital, level 2 trauma. General surgical care, oncology, nephrology, post-surgical care.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends, holidays as necessary.
Floating Requirements: Float to all areas M/S floors, ED hold, Legacy Annex (Observation Unit).
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
