Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience worked in the last 6 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
An interview may not be available prior to offer. Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility is a teaching facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Strong cardiac telemetry background required. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips; there is no monitor tech in the ED.
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer through Relias only, with 2 max attempts. Pass/fail sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: Cares for ED hold patients waiting for inpatient bed placement, primarily MS/Tele. Will be caring for more telemetry patients vs medical patients. May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration, but will not be the primary RN for ED patient assignments. Titrates Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone drips.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule. Must work 2 of 4 major holidays. Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time. No call required.
Floating Requirements: First to float. Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC EDs as needed.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
