Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Telemetry rhythm capabilities, able to assess med surg level patients and alert Charge RN / Manager / Rapid Response / Provider when acuity level changes.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Iv fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, Iv antibiotics
Unit/Facility Details:
Unit guidelines: Attend huddles at 0650 AM shift or 1850 PM shift. Must clock out and in for Meal breaks. Must clock in no earlier than 0638 or 1838 depending on shift.
Number of Beds - 34
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period.
Floating Requirements: Other med surg units, occasionally, in the holding Pod of ED

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
