Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: - EKG interpretation and medication titration required. - Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips.

Unit Details: - Cardiothoracic telemetry unit caring for patients with MI, CHF, A-fib, COPD, pacemaker/AICD placement, lung surgery, chest tubes, esophagectomy patients not fresh from PACU, and general medical overflow. - Titrates drips mainly Cardizem and heparin. - Uses CPAP and BiPAP for home-regimen patients; heated high flow only in special circumstances with COVID patients. - Uses Philips telemetry monitors with monitor tech support.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend, Saturday/Sunday. - Holiday rotation includes Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. - No call at this time.

Floating Requirements: - Float to other general medical units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
