Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience within the past 6 months.

• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Previous Employment Requirements: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Requires Tele skills. Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters.

Required Credentials: NIHSS - AHA or APEX. **Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts).

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Common diagnoses/Types of patients ED holds waiting for placement on a unit.

Types of Patients on Unit: Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. (MS/Tele). Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital.

Unit/Facility Details: # of beds CRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED Beds. Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes. May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medicaton administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.

Special Requests: No Block Scheduling.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule; must work 2 of 4 major holidays. Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time.

Floating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed.

Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
