Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have post procedural cardiac experience (cath lab, ablations, open heart). - Must be able to read and interpret telemetry and document it appropriately; nurses are expected to read and interpret telemetry 2x per shift.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - PCU and stepdown experience preferred.
Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Exceptions for previous employees must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. - Block scheduling is not guaranteed; maximum of 5 shifts in a row.
Unit Details: - Uses Epic. - Cardiac-focused and general telemetry population including post-op procedural patients, post-op day 1 open heart, TAVRs, ablations, post caths, pacemakers, CHF, sepsis, electrolyte imbalances, and post-stroke patients. - May titrate heparin and, rarely, insulin; insulin experience is not required and the facility will train if needed. - Common drips include set-rate cardiac gtts, amio, cardizem, dopamine, and dobutamine. - Can take intermittent high-flow, BiPAP, and CPAP patients; RT manages respiratory therapy, and RNs may assist if needed.
Shift & Scheduling: - 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule; for days, weekends are Saturday/Sunday. - May be asked to work holidays, but not every holiday. - Call or standby is not typically required.
Floating Requirements: - Tele 3 and 7 pool staffing together; travelers float between the 3rd and 7th floors as needed. - Travelers are first to float to other MS, MS-Tele, or Tele units within the hospital and to sister facilities in Meridian and Nampa.

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years
