Your tasks and responsibilities as an Ultrasound Technologist (or Sonographer) include but are not limited to:
Qualifications
· A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program
· Valid ARDMS certification -- RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
· 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
· Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383-bed hospital located in Bradenton, FL. We have a 13-acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons.
