Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted if they have 2 years of ultrasound/sonographer experience. Work history/resume must have 24 months of current sonographer and/or vascular experience. General/abdomen and non-high-risk OB/GYN experience required. Proficiency/experience in: abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation; kidneys and bladder; small parts; pelvis (transabdominal and transvaginal); transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging; 1st trimester OB (transabdominal and transvaginal); 2nd/3rd trimester OB for dating, measurements, BPPs, fluid checks, and fetal anatomy scans; testicle/scrotum evaluation; upper and lower venous doppler; DVT/venous evaluation of both arms and legs; lower arterial doppler; ABIs; thyroids; aorta duplex; aortas; carotids; carotid arterial doppler; hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures preferred.
Required Credentials: ARDMS Abdomen (AB) required.
Preferred Credentials: ARDMS OB/GYN preferred.
Special Requests: Past UnityPoint Health employees who worked as FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or worked there within the past 12 months; prior travel-only work at UPH does not trigger this separation policy. Unless the unit is closed, required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
Unit Details: Average 15 scans per day. Performs general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound.
Shift & Scheduling: Fri, Sat, Sun. On-call: none.
14 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS))
