Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System.

Additional Details:

You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

X-Ray Tech

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience Required in Neonate, Infant, & Geriatric
• Experience Required in Enema Studies & Surgery/C-Arm
• Able to go to surgery when needed
• Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Bedside/Portable Procedures, Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, Operating Room, PICU, Chest routine, Barium enema (Air & Single Contrast), Barium Swallow/Esophagus, Contrast Enema, Upper GI series, Head (Orbits, Skull), Lower Extremity (Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tib/Fib), Mobile/Surgical (C-Arm, Portable Abdomen/Chest), Preparation/Administration of Contrast Media, Spine (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar), Pelvis, Upper Extremity (Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, Wrist).

Preferred Skills/Experience: GE, Philips, Siemens*.

Required Credentials: LSRT (will accept a temp LSRT, takes 3-5 days to issue once fee is paid and proof of ARRT certification are received

Special Requests: Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 1 x8 hour shift between Monday - Friday and then - 2x16 weekend shift. Saturday and Sunday, 6a - 10p .
• On Call Requirement: Yes rotating call
• Holiday Requirement: Yes

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
