Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Previous experience is required in one of the following specialties: Cardiac Cath Specialist, Cardiovascular Specialist, Diagnostic Cath Specialist, Interventional Cath Specialist, or Peripheral Diagnostic/Interventional Specialist.

Required Credentials: One of the following is required: Graduation from a Radiologic Science program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health and Accreditation; graduation from a special procedures program; graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; or completion of a course training in cardiac catheterization — transcripts required.

Unit Details: Supports diagnostic, interventional, and peripheral procedures involving the heart and peripheral vessels, including hemodynamics. Provides pre-, during-, and post-procedure patient care, including sterile preparation of the patient and scrub table. Prepares lines and devices for injectable fluids, inserts IVs, and injects drugs under direct physician supervision. Operates radiographic and cardiac catheterization equipment, including IVUS, Combo Map, ICE, and HeartLab, and performs routine equipment troubleshooting and maintenance. Uses Witt, HeartLab, ICE, IVUS, and Apollo systems for data retrieval, documentation, reporting, and image archiving.

Shift & Scheduling: May be placed on standby if census drops. One call weekend per month. Holidays are not required.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
