Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of recent cath lab tech experience is required.
Proficiency with coronary stent interventions is required.
Proficiency with sterile technique is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
EP experience is not required, but is nice to have.
Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection, is preferred.
Proficiency as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience scrubbing cardiac angiograms/interventions, neuro angiograms/interventions, vascular endograft/peripheral vascular angiograms/interventions, and pacemaker implants/device cases, is preferred.
Experience with electrophysiology ablations is preferred.

Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well.
If previously employed by Sanford Health, the employment end date must be 6 months before the submission date.

Unit Details:
Scrub duties include cardiac angiograms/interventions, neuro angiograms/interventions, vascular endograft/peripheral vascular angiograms/interventions, and pacemaker implants/device cases.
Procedures include left/right heart catheterizations and PCI (rotablader, Shockwave), pericardiocentesis, intra-aortic balloon pump/Impella insertion/removal, peripheral vascular procedures, electrophysiology device insertion/removal (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, etc.), and PFO/ASD closure.
EP and structural heart cases are possible based on candidate experience.
The cath lab uses CUPID and GE MAC Lab/Cardio Lab as main reporting systems.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift options include 4-10-hour or 5-8-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
Weekend on-call rotation is every 3rd to 4th weekend, with 1 night on call/late every week.
The call team consists of 4 people, and the candidate would not work alone.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
