Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Special procedures experience preferred.

Required Credentials:
An applicable bachelor's or associate degree in radiology is required, or you must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.
If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Unit Details:
Performs diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
Operates conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders.
Assists the physician with diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician.

Shift & Scheduling:
Interventional cath lab techs will take call.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
