Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare.

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to read strips required.
Unit Details: STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure, congenital, TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral cases. Cath lab is separate from IR and EP. Drips are titrated occasionally. Uses GE and Philips monitors and McKesson. Regular cases are 3-person teams (1 RN and 2 RTR); call teams are 4-person teams. Charge nurse serves as a resource, coordinates care, and fields calls; the on-call nurse may act as charge nurse.
Shift & Scheduling: May work beyond the scheduled shift to complete cases when emergent cases come up. 6-8 call shifts per month, including primary and backup call. Every 6-7th full weekend call, from Friday at 5:30pm to 0600 on Monday morning. Additional backup weekend call shifts are 24-hour shifts, averaging once per month, serving as circulator for emergent cases. Easter backup call shift required.
Floating Requirements: May share to IR if experienced.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
