Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with McKesson is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience:
Circulate and conscious sedation are required.

Required Credentials:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
Patients include STEMI/MI, CAD, pericardial effusion, PAD, sepsis, DVT, and PE.
Cardiac/cath procedures include LHC, RHC, STEMI care and call, pericardial centesis, balloon pumps, temporary pacers, and permanent pacer/defibrillator procedures.
IR procedures include venous access, G/GJ/J tube placement/replacement, angiograms, venograms, PV, nephrostomy tubes, abscess drains, TIPS, filters, PE/DVT thrombectomy, fistulagrams/declotting, drain placement, GI tube insertion, UFEs, prostate embolization, and GI, postpartum, and other internal bleeds.
EP work includes devices and ablations.
Equipment includes Mckesson-Hemo, balloon pumps, Angio Jet, CSI Diamondback, Penumbra, Inari, Roto Pro, Jet Stream (BSCI), Philips/Siemens C-arms, ACIST, MEDRad power injector, Medtronic temporary pacer, IVUS, and Abbott OCT.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule options include 4x10 or 5x8 shifts; 12-hour shifts are available on Thursdays and Fridays for clinicians competent to circulate in EP.
Call is 10-12 days a month every 3rd weekend.
