Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with McKesson is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS

Required Skills/Experience:

  • References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
  • Circulating and conscious sedation skills are required. Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Monitor skills preferred.
  • EP competency preferred. Required Credentials:
  • Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Special Requests:
  • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
  • Assignment length may vary: 6-13 weeks. Unit Details:
  • Adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations.
  • Patient population includes STEMI/MI, CAD, pericardial effusion, PAD, sepsis, DVT, and PE.
  • Cardiac/cath procedures and cases include LHC, RHC, STEMI, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacers, balloon pumps, permanent pacemaker/defibrillator procedures, and pericardial effusion cases.
  • IR procedures and cases include venous access, G/GJ/J-tube placement/replacement, angiograms, venograms, PV, nephrostomy tubes, drain and abscess-drain placement, TIPS, filters, PE/DVT thrombectomy, fistulagram/declotting, GI tube insertion, UFEs, prostate embolization, fistula work, and GI, postpartum, and other internal bleeds.
  • EP procedures include devices and ablations.
  • Equipment includes McKesson-Hemo, balloon pumps, AngioJet, CSI Diamondback, Penumbra, Inari, RotoPro, Jetstream (BSCI), Philips/Siemens C-arms, ACIST, MEDRAD power injector, Medtronic temporary pacemakers, IVUS, and Abbott OCT.
  • Daily census is 5-7. Shift & Scheduling:
  • Shift may be 4x10 or 5x8s.
  • 12-hour shifts are available on Thursdays and Fridays if EP competent to circulate.
  • Call is 10-12 days a month every 3rd weekend.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
