Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates must have neonatal/neonatology echocardiography experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1-3 years of echocardiography experience preferred.

Required Credentials: One of the following registrations is required: Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS; Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI; or Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT. Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram, cardiovascular sonography, or equivalent program required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

Unit Details: The department supports OR, inpatient, outpatient, and cath lab. Performs transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures. There are 5-8 cases per day; the average is 5 scans per day.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. Weekend call is required every 3-4 weeks, depending on staffing. One week of call is required every 3-4 weeks, depending on staffing.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
