Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: OR/intraoperative TEE experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 1-3 years of echocardiography experience preferred.

Required Credentials: One of the following registrations is required: Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI, or Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT. Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram, cardiovascular sonography, or equivalent program required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.

Unit Details: Performs transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures per physician orders. The department supports OR, inpatient, outpatient, and cath lab areas. Typical workload is 5-8 cases per day, averaging 5 scans per day.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. Weekend call every 3-4 weeks depending on staffing. One week of call every 3-4 weeks depending on staffing.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
