Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
IV skills are preferred; if not, training is available.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Adult echocardiography includes transthoracic and exercise stress echo.
IV insertion and administration of Ultrasound Enhancing Agents (UEA).
The sonographer will rotate among echo and stress echo rooms.
Average 8 patients per day, with exams lasting about one hour.
Equipment includes GE VE95, GE S70, and GE CASE machines.
Uses Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV) for PACS and reporting.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
