Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
The clinician must have current knowledge of technology and clinical advances related to cardiac and/or vascular sonography.
The clinician must have working knowledge of accreditation, credentialing, and quality assurance procedures.
The clinician must have a basic understanding of imager configuration, DICOM standards, networking and medical records.
Transthoracic echocardiography is required.
The clinician must be able to start IVs.
The clinician must be able to inject Definity.

Required Credentials:
Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program.
Maintain continuing education requirements as set forth by ARDMS, CCI, ICAVL and ICAE.

Unit Details:
The sonographer performs non-invasive vascular and echocardiography testing.
The sonographer may participate in research and procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday through Friday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
