Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 6 months within the past 4 years.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

ED Holds/Tele
An interview may not be available prior to offer.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Shift & Scheduling: No block scheduling. 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule; must work 2 of 4 major holidays. Rotate in with the perm staff. No call required.
Required Skills/Experience: Must have a strong cardiac tele background, preferably 2 years. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical. RNs required to titrate drips. Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips.
Required Credentials: Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, only (with 2 MAX attempts). There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.)
Types of Patients on Unit: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele. Will be caring for patients from the ER who are waiting on a bed in the hospital. May be asked to help with ED patients including vitals, IV starts and medication administration. Will not be asked to be primary RN for ED patient assignment.
Unit/Facility Details: CRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED Beds
Floating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed.
Facility holidays: 01/01/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/25/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
