Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of General Sonography experience.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Three (3) years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans.

Required Credentials: - Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required. - Must be American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered in OB / OB GYN.

Preferred Credentials: - Fetal Echocardiography (FE).

Unit Details: - Maternal-fetal ultrasound role assisting the radiologist/supervising physician with invasive diagnostic techniques and procedures. - Provides standardization and training to residents regarding these exams. - Performs maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, fetal wellbeing (including biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, amniotic fluid assessments), needle procedure guidance, examinations of maternal pelvic anatomy (including transvaginal cervical assessment), and advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques. - Records anatomical, pathological, and physiological data, obtains Doppler signals and Doppler shift recordings, and advises the radiologist and/or referring OB provider of exam results and preliminary diagnostic evaluation.

Shift & Scheduling: - 4x 9 hr shifts and 1 x 4 hr shift (1/2-day Friday). - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday. - No call.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
