Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have 5+ years of experience.

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.

Unit Details:
Census is around 10 per shift.
Patient population includes ER patients, mostly adults with some pediatric patients.
Cases include OB/GYN, general, abdominal, and vascular studies.
Vascular work includes DVT and arterial studies.
OB/GYN work includes first-, second-, and third-trimester studies, size and dates, and BPP; second- and third-trimester patients may be redirected.
General studies include abdominal, pelvic, and testicular exams.
The sonographer must be comfortable working solo as the only ultrasound technologist.
Support is available from an ER RN, ER providers, and an RT; the radiologist is off site, and a manager/supervisor is available by phone.
Uses Philips View PACS.
Equipment includes GE Logiq P9.

Shift & Scheduling:
Scheduled Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
If scheduled for nights, orientation occurs during the day.
Holidays are worked when they fall on a normal scheduled day.
Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved.
The schedule is mostly set.
On-call requirement: 1 night per week (2230 to the following morning) and 1 weekend per month (Friday night to Monday morning), with a 30-minute response time.
If working a weekend nights schedule, no weekend call is required; only 1 weeknight call shift per week is required.

Floating Requirements:
Rarely, the clinician may float to Yakima Hospital.

3 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months
