Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry interpretation is required. Telemetry monitoring is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: WB and CXS parking permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits; the WMC permit is available monthly. WMC monthly parking permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage for $224.80/month or $748.58 per 100 days. WB annual parking permit: $196.20/year; parking is available in Carmack Lots 2 and 3 approximately 1.7 miles from the medical center, with Pink Shuttle service every 3–5 minutes during peak times and an approximately 8–9 minute ride to the medical center. CXS annual parking permit: $393.96/year. WB weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m.; outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Common diagnoses include all subtypes of breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, as well as encounters for antineoplastic chemotherapy. The unit cares for all solid tumor cancers throughout the cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and transition to end-of-life care. The unit has a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls. The unit also cares for patients with medical-surgical issues.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends are variable based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required to other Medical-Surgical Oncology units.
