Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with cardiac drips and post-cath lab care is required.
Special Requests: Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Patient population includes congestive heart failure (CHF), hypertension, chest pain work-ups, COPD exacerbations, asthma, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 on day shift and 1:5 on night shift. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable or set-rate drips include analgesics for pain, anticoagulants for blood clots, and antihypertensives for blood pressure control. Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, HFNC, and NRB. Telemetry technicians monitor 24/7, and RNs co-sign strips. Charge nurses take an assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling and block scheduling are available. Weekend coverage is 6-9 weekends per six-week schedule; at least six weekend shifts must be self-scheduled. Holiday coverage is required. Call requirements are determined by the nurse manager. Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if the first-day modules are remote.
Floating Requirements: First to float; the float pool includes MS and Tele, and in an extreme need floating may extend within Zone 3.
