Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1970 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to manage discharges and admissions is preferred. Basic cardiac drip knowledge is preferred.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: The unit includes Med/Surg overflow. Patient population is adult and geriatric. Common diagnoses/treatments include CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, and post-cardiac cath care. Equipment includes a Welch Allyn vital signs machine, Hoyer lift with weight scale, Abbott glucometer, computers on wheels, TR Band, and Baxter IV pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options include 7A and 7P start times. Weekend shifts occur every other or every third weekend. No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
