Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2060 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Connecticut license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Middlesex Health System.

Special Requests: Cannot work another job and apply for this assignment. RTO is not approved within the first two weeks of the assignment. Minimal RTO.

Unit Details: Ratios: Days 1:3-4; nights 1:7-8. General medical patient population. Shared charge nurse with North 6. Nurse aides available at 1:8. No telemetry on the unit. CPAP HS only. Hospitalist in house 24/7. IV team available 7am-8:30pm; nurse resource available 24/7 for IV help, including 7pm-7am. Nurses perform all respiratory treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend; must work the full weekend including Sundays. Every other holiday. Must be available for up to 48 hours per week.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
