Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience reading basic telemetry strips.
Some experience with CVA and TIA.
Experience with total joint replacement.

Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.

Unit Details:
Common diagnoses and patient types include CHF, COVID-19, respiratory and GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, post-cath, and total joint replacement.
RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift.
Diltiazem/Cardizem drips are administered at a set rate.
The unit uses BiPAP and CPAP and provides breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedules are prepared four weeks at a time. Self-scheduling is used, but schedules are not final until the manager balances them.
2 weekends per 4-week schedule are required.
For Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving, the preference is for clinicians to work 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving Day).
No call.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float and may float to East Campus and possibly to PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
