Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience reading basic telemetry strips.
Some experience with CVA and TIA.
Total joint replacement experience.

Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.

Unit Details:
Common diagnoses and patient types include CHF, COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetes, telemetry, post-cath, and total joint replacement.
Diltiazem/Cardizem drips are used at a set rate.
RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift.
The unit uses BiPAP, CPAP, and provides breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedules are made out for 4 weeks.
Self-scheduling is used, but the schedule is not final until the manager balances it.
2 weekends per 4-week schedule.
For Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving, the manager prefers clinicians to work 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day).
No call.

Floating Requirements:
This position is first to float.
The clinician may float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
