Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Reading basic telemetry strips, some experience with CVA and TIA, and total joint replacement experience are required.

Candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year.

Unit Details:
Common diagnoses and patient types include CHF, COVID, respiratory and GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, post-cath care, and total joint replacement.
RNs are required to interpret telemetry strips and sign at least once per shift.
Common drips include diltiazem (Cardizem) at a set rate.
Equipment and respiratory support include BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedules are made for 4 weeks at a time.
Self-scheduling is used but is not final until the manager balances the schedule.
Weekend coverage is 2 weekends per 4-week schedule.
For Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving, the holiday requirement is to work 2 days and an eve or 2 eves and a day (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day).
No call.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float.
The clinician may float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
