Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2070 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be able to read basic telemetry strips and have some experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA.

Unit Details:
The unit cares for COVID, respiratory, gastrointestinal, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, and CVA patients, as well as general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients.
Diltiazem is used at a set rate.
Telemetry is monitored remotely, with telemetry technicians on the 3rd floor; RNs must interpret strips and sign at least once a shift.
Respiratory support includes BiPAP, CPAP, high flow, and some breathing treatments.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedules are made out for 4 weeks; self-scheduling is used but is not final until the manager balances the schedule.
Two weekends per 4-week schedule.
For Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving, holiday coverage is requested as 2 days and 1 eve or 2 eves and a day across Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and Thanksgiving Day.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float and may float to East Campus and possibly to PCU if qualified.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
