Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2150 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: While additional support is provided, candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios. First-time travelers are accepted as long as experience requirements are met.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. 10 RTO days maximum are approved; RTO is not allowed during September 2 – September 12, 2026, October 25 – November 4, 2026, November 22 – December 2, 2026, and December 20 – January 3, 2027. Flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions.

Unit Details: Medical acute care medicine unit. Diverse adult patient population with acute and chronic medical diagnoses, including COPD, CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, falls, UTI, post-operative conditions, GI bleed, cellulitis, abscess, withdrawal, and CKD. Staffing model calls for 1:5 on day shift and 1:6 on night shift; nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs. At night, nurse-to-patient ratios can flex to 1:6-7.

Shift & Scheduling: Various days of the week. Call required: Yes, per unit needs. 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; Friday counts as a weekend shift for night shift.

Floating Requirements: May float to MS and MS/T units and other like units as required; may also float to sister facilities within the Metro region based on facility needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
