Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Great River Health System (Direct) Program - Main.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Self-study of telemetry strips is required upon acceptance; a basic dysrhythmia test-out will be given during the first week and must be passed to work on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit.
Unit Details: - Patient population includes geriatric, adult, medical/surgical, and telemetry patients. - Telemetry ratios are currently 1:4 on days and 1:5 on nights. - Med/Surg ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend rotation. - Not part of a regular call rotation; may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census and must be able to arrive on-site within one hour if called in.
Floating Requirements: - May be required to float to Fort Madison or Henry County campus at times. - Floating is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients. - Travelers with critical care experience may occasionally float to CCU.
