Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: - Specializes in head/neck and GI surgeries: tracheostomies, laryngectomies, hernia repairs, colo-rectal surgery, cholecystectomies, appendectomies, ostomy takedowns, and other procedures. - Medical overflow. - General Med/Tele skillset: stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - No call. - 75% of holidays required.
Special Requests: - RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays — must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.
Floating Requirements: - Will be required to float within Region 3 — Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, and Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH) — as needed, within scope of practice.
