Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse- $1070 per week.

Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with orthopedic and bariatric patients preferred.
Required Credentials: LPN EKG exam is required; the medication portion of the normal EKG exam is not included. High school degree or GED. Completion of an accredited LPN (Licensed Practical Nursing) Program.
Unit Details: Patient cases include up to 6 L NC and intermittent BiPAP; no special procedures. The unit may use heparin drips, IVs, ports, and PICCs, and includes remote telemetry patients. Patient population spans neonates through geriatrics. The unit uses a team-nursing model. The goal is for the charge nurse to be out of ratio.
Shift & Scheduling: Schedule includes every third weekend and every other holiday.
