Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ardent Health.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. LTAC experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. General Med/Surg acute care. No insulin gtt, but heparin gtt. No other titratable gtts. Post-cath, post-angio, IR procedures, chest tubes. Minor procedures on unit only. This is not a neuro unit. The neuro unit moved facilities; however, this unit name has not been changed yet per the unit manager. The length of stay is typically shorter, as it is used some for a clinical decision unit and patients may transfer out to the proper specialty.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend required.
Floating Requirements: May float to other MS/Tele but will not be asked to float outside their acuity or specialty.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
