Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2120 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for travelers. Failure to adhere may result in being sent home or terminated.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Stroke experience preferred.

Unit Details: - Cares for post-TPA or lower-level stroke patients, as well as COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, occasional surgical overflow including thyroidectomy, and other general med-surg cases.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekends as scheduled.

Special Requests: - If the candidate worked at a permanent facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that permanent facility. - Eligibility as current/previous employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. - At least 1 reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
