Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2390 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Min 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting, 250+ beds. Travel experience including successful completion.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with neuro patients preferred, but not required.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months before submission.

Unit Details: Assessments, documentation, completing of nursing tasks, med administration. Uses Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps. Nurse to patient ratio: 4-5:1 on day shift, 6:1 on night shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend days only. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: Primary unit will be 6AB, but will be expected to float to any Med/Surg unit at any of the 3 Sanford Medical Centers in Fargo.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
