Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. If previously employed by Sanford Health, the end date must be at least 6 months before submission.
Unit Details: Provides nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients, including head-to-toe and focused assessments, medication administration, interdisciplinary communication, patient and family plan-of-care updates, patient advocacy, and documentation. Uses OmniCell, Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, Language Line, and Zebra phones. 0700-2300: 1:4-5; 2300-0700: 1:5-6.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. Day/night rotation varies by unit needs; clinicians may work 3 weeks of days then 3 weeks of nights in one schedule cycle, and the next cycle may be all days or all nights. Can self-schedule, but only the days off listed on the contract are guaranteed; self-scheduled shifts may be moved during schedule balancing. If a specific day off cannot be supported, staff are asked to trade shifts.
Floating Requirements: May be required to float to other med-surg units at Sanford Medical Center Fargo and Broadway Sanford, and to other units/locations within Fargo as needed.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
