Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required. Screen for 1+ years with Level I, Teaching Facility experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Tele experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Monthly parking costs $73 at the North Surface Lot, $63 at the Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot, or $73 at the Clayton Taylor Garage; price and availability may vary. Parking for orientation at the Laclede Garage costs $15; Barnes does not validate or reimburse this charge. Straight night-shift parking has no charge in employee parking; day/night rotation parking requires a $70 monthly pass at the Clayton/Taylor Avenue location.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Acute medicine population includes DM, renal issues, COPD, abdominal rule-outs, and cancer patients not receiving current chemotherapy. This unit does not care for surgical patients. Bedside procedures may include thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertion, and simple suture/debridement.

Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. No call. No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.

Floating Requirements: Floats within the service line.
