Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:
Unit Details: - General medical/surgical patients who are ready to be discharged from the ER but have not been assigned to a specific unit yet. - Performs initial admissions and patient care until transfer to a new unit.
Shift & Scheduling: - 12-hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730). - Every other weekend and every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: - Will float to other medical/surgical units as needed.
Required Credentials: - Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility is a teaching facility. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Previous Employment Requirements: - Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location.
7 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
1 reference required from within the last 3 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
