Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience with 1 month within the last 60 months (5 years).
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team) combined pediatric unit experience in the past 5 years (must have had peds-only assignments, not mixed-age populations). - IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience.
Unit Details: - Provides respiratory care for pediatric patients throughout the facility in a children’s hospital setting, from neonates through pediatrics. - Coverage areas include ED, PICU, pediatric CVICU, pediatric PCU, and general med floors.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - No call. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks.
Special Requests: - Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays; must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
