Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
• AS completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: 3-5 years of peds critical care or NICU experience required. PICU experience required. Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU. Knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, and INO is required.
Required Credentials: Associate degree or certificate required.
Unit Details: Unit areas include pediatric cardiac ICU, pediatric medical ICU, pediatric surgical ICU, and a Level IV NICU. The patient population includes tracheostomy patients. Equipment includes Servo I and Servo U ventilators, LTVs, Astral and Trilogy ventilators, and oscillators. Managing respiratory care patients includes ventilator management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, and treatments.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation is every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd weekend. Travelers may be scheduled for holidays if necessary. Flexible contract hours: set weekly hours, except during holidays when the unit is closed and during orientation week.
Floating Requirements: The assignment is primarily in PICU and NICU but may require floating to general med/surg acute care units and EDTC.
9 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
