Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System.

Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will not be considered. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. RTO requests require manager approval. Holiday expectations are unit dependent.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience and comfort with required skills. Critical care experience required. Experience with ventilators, BiPAPs, HFNC, and other respiratory equipment/accessories required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Some nursery experience is helpful; if you have NRP and do not have nursery experience, that is okay.

Unit Details: Cares for med-surg, critical care, emergency, and COVID patients; mainly adult/geriatric, with possible pediatric/infant patients (Bubble CPAP—if on for 2 hours or more they are transferred to the NICU). Assignments depend on census and acuity using a points system acuity tool. Uses Getinge Servo-u ventilators and Pyxis for medication dispensing.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Will work in all departments. For each shift, RTs are assigned a specific area, but because it is a small facility, they all cover each other. RT will not float to other facilities.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
