Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System.

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience and comfort with required skills. Critical care experience required. Experience with ventilators, BiPAPs, HFNC, and familiarity with other respiratory equipment/accessories required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Some nursery experience is helpful; if you have NRP and do not have nursery experience, that is acceptable.

Special Requests: Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will not be considered. RTO requires manager approval. You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). For example, if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility.

Unit Details: Patient populations include med-surg, critical care, emergency, and COVID; mainly adult/geriatric, with possible pediatric and infant patients. Infants on Bubble CPAP for more than 2 hours are transferred to the NICU. Assignments depend on census and acuity; a points system acuity tool is used to determine assignments. Uses Getinge Servo-u ventilators and Pyxis for medication dispensing.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend required. No call. Holiday expectations are unit dependent. Schedule cycle is released 6 weeks at a time.

Floating Requirements: Will work in all departments. For each shift, clinicians are assigned a specific area, but because it is a small facility, all departments cover each other.

14 days maximum time off
